How are reading and speaking time calculated?
Reading time uses an average silent-reading speed of 238 words per minute; speaking time uses a presentation pace of 140 words per minute.
Do word counts include citations and references?
The counter includes everything you paste. If your university excludes the bibliography from the word limit, paste only the main text — most word limits exclude references, tables, and appendices.
